Roundabout Theatre
Eye Candy that Entertains
An eclectic collection of well thought through,
constructed and theatrical roving entertainment acts. Here
are a few that you may like to meet some day.
The Clouds
The Clouds are sure to delight audiences with their
floaty presence good humor. Precious Cirrus and
Thunderhead have taken some time out of their busy social
schedules to do some sightseeing on Earth. Their
guide on this journey is ever pleasant and glamorous
Rhonda, a cumulous cloud hostess.
The Clouds take themselves very lightly and are sure to
shine a rainbow wherever storm has been and lift even the
heaviest of hearts.
The Slow Show
Trisha and Helix are a veritable odd couple. She is a
nature loving human and he an over sized garden
snail. They live together in Helix's shell, a rather
squishy arrangement you would think! But, they are
more than happy traveling the world and finding the magic
in the little things in life.
This show is part roving act part installation. Helix
and Trisha will rove through your audience until they find
a cosy spot to set up camp. Once here this charming
couple will invite your guests in for a cup of tea and a
chat. Just make sure to wipe for you feet before you
go inside!
The Flying Lepht Brothers
This slapstick, silent movie style roving act involves
two brothers and their overbearing nanny who are in search of
the perfect hill from which to launch their magnificent
flying machine. Nanny helps the brothers and fusses
over them but unbeknown to them she has a more sinister
motive. Nanny stands to inherit a lot of money should
the boys meet an untimely death while testing out their new
machine and Nanny is more than willing to help them
along. But will she succeed? As the plot thickens
the audience will be enthralled to find out what will happen
to the lovable brothers and their wicked nanny.
The Cupcakes
No woman on earth can get the whites as white and the
brights as bright as The Cupcakes! These two perfectly
groomed women have fallen straight out of the 1950's and are
here to clean up the streets, literally! With their
feather dusters and sprays in tow they will treat your
audience to some enchanting jingles and choreography all the
while imparting their household tips for a happier
world.
The very best and nothing
less...
