Cocoloco Performance Company
Cocoloco is a performance troupe based out of London who specialise in quirky entertainment. They like to surprise crowds by by juxtaposing a peculiar character or scene in a normal situation.
Cocoloco will be in Australia from September 2009 until March 2010 so get in quick and have them appear at your event.
Over the past few years through their work with different festivals and events around the world they have built up an extensive body of shows.
Alice & Alice - Alice through the looking glass reflects on herself and sees her darker side. Poetic, funny and a little naughty as all girls can be. The Alices talk in unison and perform as mirror opposites.
Mafia Wedding - The birth of Maria's baby is dangerously imminent. Her father, The Don, is not happy. She needs a husband, a bridesmaid, a priest, a congregation, even a surgeon, if the baby arrives. Perhaps the public will help. Its an offer they can't refuse.
Nests - surreal roving characters. The Twitcher's have spent so much time bird watching that their heads have turned into nests. As the characters roam through your event birds appear from their nests surprising and delighting the crowds.
The Sir Tom Jones Experience - Its worth queuing for this portable karaoke experience that will leave you panting. The box will fit approximately 16 and the audience outside will have just as much fun watching the box rocking and the pants flying.
Duel In The Song - Two cowboys face each other. Their weapons not colt .45s but megaphones playing the great Western themes. Only one tough guy can win.
The Best Thing - one person at a time is lead into the box blindfolded to experience "the best thing ever" (the nature of the thing can not be revealed). Their reaction on leaving the box is ecstatic and leaves the expectations of the people in line growing. This is an exclusive event with about 1 person through every minute (approximately one group of 40-50 per hour).
Audrey and Audrey - These are two cleaners who love to chat more than they clean. A hilarious use of mime and sound effects.
