Hell West & Crooked brings the Australian Outback and it’s larger than life characters to the people of the world to see, touch, hear and smell.

30 minutes of action, comedy, stunts & audience interaction. This production was the success story at Australia’s larges Show, The Sydney Royal and was written as a head line attraction for the Outback Festival.

A show for the whole family with slap stick humour, laugh a minute gags and animated style action sequences where nobody really gets hurt.

The Year is 1870……

The Story is set in the Australian Outback in central Queensland.

Not a lot happens in the sleepy little town of Winton. It used to be Australia’s most successful opal mine but now only hopeful opal fossickers pass through and the Cob n Co Stage Coach stops there once a week to drop off the mail.

Until Now….

Retiring bush ranger from Victoria Captain Moonlight decides that Winton’s lack of activity and traffic is precisely what he is looking for as a place to retire from his Outlaw ways.

Looking forward to putting his feet up and enjoying life and not having to look over his shoulder for her majesties finest closing in to make his arrest.

But Moonlight didn’t know how to live a normal life and it wasn’t too long before he returned to his Bush Ranger ways.

His presence in town became the worst kept secret in the Outback. People would come from miles around just to have a look at the mug! With its own “star attraction” the town started to thrive.

The Law catches up…..

Captain Moonlight’s girlfriend EDNA is a few Kangaroos short of a top paddock! A few snags short of a BBQ! A few sangers short of a picnic! In other words……

SHE AINT TOO BRIGHT!

As a special birthday surprise to her sweet heart she thought she’d place an advertisement in the Victorian Gazette inviting all his friends to come to the HELL WEST AND CROOKED HOTEL for a surprise birthday bash for her beloved Captain Moonlight. The unfortunate thing is….none of his mates can read but the law can!

Renowned Lawman Trooper Douglas Patterson arrives in Winton to apprehend the infamous outlaw and take him back to Victoria to Justice.

This is where the fun begins!!! Twists & Turns! Clever Identities and the town folk….whose side do they take?
